Life can be a wild, chaotic ride at times. Yoga can help assist us to ease us, to restore a sense of calm, “a steady, regal sense of resting in the perfect spot’ as its described in Radiance Sutra 26.
Such steadiness, a regal sense, takes massive amounts of practice. Because, as the Talmud says, we don’t see the world as it is, we see it as we are'-yogis recommend a practice of swadyaya, or self study.
The practices assist us in discernment which does not ignore tight spots, but helps us navigate them with wisdom.
