Come, come, whoever you are. Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving.
It doesn't matter.
Ours is not a caravan of despair.
Come, even if you have broken your vow

a thousand times
Come, yet again, come, come.

RUMI

I’ve been distracted lately. Mainly for good reasons, like guests in town, but also by the Demons of indifference, laziness, even despair: I’ll get going like gangbusters on my book and Big Yoga Plans but can vear off course, get out of the practice.

One day, while spending unconstructive time on instagram, I ran across Rumi’s poem Come, Come, Whoever You Are and was reminded to start again. Yoga always meets us where we are, in the most surprising places. She’s always pulling you for your highest good. If you pay attention, she’s always knocking on your door asking you over and over again to come home.

i’ve missed a week’s worth of blogging classes. The sequences are gone forever; it was last week’s news. Today, I start again.
