Feel the Y O G A: Teaching Flow and Restore at 808 Wellness: Kihei, Maui, HI: November 15, 2019
The energy is thick and grounding. Maybe it's the Taurus full moon that arrived two days ago, maybe it's another week of a house crowded with furniture and a muddy backyard where once was a lush green yard. Pool building isn't for the faint of heart, especially when things are moving s l o w as molasses. Correction, slower.
Impatience will flat wear you out. It will ramp up your nervous system and make the world look like it's rotating the wrong way. It's a problem of not trusting the ritam, the divine order that is what's really going on but you just can't believe it.
The medicine has been to move slowly and as mindfully as possible. God is in the details, they say. It sure helps to put the brakes on; racing around trying to make things go faster isn’t working.
Why oh why can’t I learn this?
Next best thing is to make every day about trust and faith, mixed in with a sense of humor. So this is what consumes me and follows me into class..
I subbed three other classes this week. I didn't make the time to capture them but they were all snail pace slow and looked a lot like what we did in today's Flow and Restore.
