Session 3: Dancing With Yourself

Buddha says “Within the body are all the gods and all the demons”. We are beginning to see the tight grip of the kleshas that keeps us small and in pain. In subtle anatomy, the heart is known as the anahata, which translates as unstruck, unbeaten,  unbroken,  or sound produced without touching two parts. It's not that our heart needs to get bigger or better. This is a practice of not self improvement but self study.  Said another way by Krishnamurti, generosity of the heart is the beginning of mediation. Ultimately a quieting mind is a dance with yourself, the dance of the higher and lower mind, and the practices of yoga are here to harmonize us to our higher selves. This class offers a glimpse into the vastness of your heart even more than you ever thought possible.

Here is a Sample Sequence to go along with this theme.
